Rozalija Grace   is a Russian and Armenian diasporic poet  and fabulist  from southern Alaska (the border crossed her). Rooted in the North Pacific coast, her marriage, and her Orthodox faith, her writing—in both English and Russian—explores meanings and mechanisms of inheritance, seeking to heal wounds in post-Soviet memory and empower women and gay believers in the Church. For this work, she has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best Spiritual Literature, featured in Dappled Things, Public Orthodoxy, ROAR, and elsewhere, and translated into Greek, Russian, and Ukrainian. Her debut poetry collection, Angelolatress, is forthcoming from Homodoxy in 2027.

With advanced degrees in theology and library science and a background as a teacher, librarian, and publisher, she currently serves as a poetry editor  for Psaltery & Lyre (having previously edited for Cordella and other magazines). Her efforts as a translator  of early Soviet gay, women’s, and minority voices from Russian and Yiddish have been featured in Tern, In geveb, and elsewhere, in addition to being nominated for Best Literary Translations.

She lives in Minneapolis with her favourite novelist, believing that, one day, Russia will be free.
